Thanks for your support during the backorder process on the Fenix HL-30. I had never ordered anything from you before and at first I was a little nervous. Now you have a satisfied customer. My only disappointment with your website is that I could not find a place to review my new light, and express my ultimate satisfaction with FenixTactical and this new product.
I admit to being a little obsessive about my outdoor lights, and Fenix has never let me down. The HL-30 is by far the best headlamp I have ever seen. It is lightweight and is great for backpacking. The power is amazing. The high beam has enough power for almost any purpose, such as nighttime hiking/backpacking. The turbo mode is simply unbelievable. I disagree that the low mode is 4 lumens. It compares to my petzl at 40-50 lumens. Unless I am on the move at night in dangerous terrain, I will rarely use the high & turbo modes. There is plenty of light on the low setting to read by, and I like the projected 140hrs of life in this mode. I have wanted Fenix to come out with this integrated lightweight product for years, and they have finally delivered a real winner. I could not be happier!!
